Former MOTLEY CRUE Drummer Sued For Wrongful Death And Negligence
February 21, 2002The parents of a four-year-old boy who drowned in a swimming pool at the home of former MOTLEY CRUE drummer Tommy Lee have filed a lawsuit against him for wrongful death and negligence. Daniel Karven-Veres died last June while attending a birthday party for Lee's son at the rock star's Malibu home. At the time, Lee called the drowning a "tragic accident". The suit filed by Daniel's parents, filed in Los Angeles Superior Court last Friday, alleges that there was no lifeguard, adult or professional designated to ensure the safety of children at the pool, and that no one was on hand who was trained in life-saving techniques. The parents are seeking unspecified general and special damages.
